Have you ever wanted to sell everything you own and just "take off?" Travel the country's back roads, paddle down a meandering stream, experience breath-taking mountain views, walk among 100-year old trees, and just marvel at America's beauty? That is the dream that my partner, Betsy, and I decided to make a reality. This blog describes our adventure. The food we eat, people we meet, sights we see, and the enjoyment we find in traveling.

  1. We are practically stalking you! LOL. Will soon have our Texas home on the market and will hit the road as soon as it sells. Discovered you quite by accident some months ago and just popped in on you again. Interesting to find you in the Florida Panhandle where I lived for 4 years (courtesy of USAF) and my partner/wife lived for years before that.....You've just spot-lighted 3 or 4 sites I've never seen in St Andrews/PC area! Your blog will be one of our guides as we see the US. Maybe we'll even run into you somewhere!!

    1. Ladies, glad you are rapidly moving towards your full time rv adventure. What we thought was going to be a two-year trip is now approaching three .... and there is no end in site. We are planning to be on the east coast this spring and summer and would love to meet up with you if that direction is in your travel plans. Best of luck selling the house. Nancy

  2. We are considering a hosting position at Dent Acres Campground in the 2016 season. Have already spoken to the Ranger there, but was concerned about travel time to town and availability of Verizon or Direct TV while in the campground. Ran across your blog and thought I'd ask you. The area looks absolutely amazing! We will be leaving a position with the BLM in Oregon to go there. Any help will be appreciated!
